What is a wear layer?
On vinyl, wear layer thickness is a durability indicator.
A wear layer is the transparent protective coating on vinyl flooring, often described in mils. Higher mil ratings are generally specified for heavier traffic. Treat the Shopify metafield as the source, not this summary.
